Genie – Terms of Use

Welcome to Genie. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you,” “your,” or “User”) and Genie, a product of MYCUBE INC., (“Genie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the Genie mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
To use Genie, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Not have been convicted of a felony, sexual offense, or be required to register as a sex offender
Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
Comply with all applicable laws
The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.
2. Account Registration
You agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and update your information
Keep your login credentials secure
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Genie may require identity verification or allow login through third-party providers (e.g., Apple, Google).
3. Subscriptions & Payments
Some features require a paid subscription (“Genie Gold and Platinum”).
Subscriptions are billed via your app store account
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal
Prices and features may change
Refunds: Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
4. User Content
You may submit text, photos, audio, and other content (“User Content”).
You are solely responsible for your User Content and agree not to post content that is:
Unlawful, harmful, abusive, or discriminatory
Misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive
In violation of another person’s rights
By posting User Content, you grant Genie a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.
You may delete your content, but copies may remain as required for backup, legal, or compliance purposes.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
Use the Service for advertising, solicitation, or commercial purposes
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
Harass, threaten, exploit, or harm others
Engage in scams, fraud, or deceptive practices
Upload or distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
Reverse engineer, scrape, or access restricted areas of the Service
Genie reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action.
6. Interactions with Other Users
Genie does not conduct background checks on users.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with others, both online and offline. Use caution and good judgment.
Genie’s matching suggestions and AI-generated insights are intended to assist you but do not replace your personal judgment. Genie is not responsible for the conduct of other users.
7. AI Transparency & Limitations
Genie uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) to power features such as voice interactions, compatibility insights, and matching suggestions.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that:
You may interact with AI systems rather than a human
AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate
AI outputs do not represent the views of Genie or any individual
Genie makes no guarantees that its AI systems are error-free, unbiased, or suitable for any purpose.
Genie’s AI systems, models, and matching methodologies are proprietary and confidential.
8. Voice Features & Consent
Genie offers voice-based features to enhance interactions.
By using these features, you expressly consent to:
The recording, processing, and analysis of your voice interactions
Conversion of voice data into text transcripts
Use of such data to provide the Service, improve AI systems, and ensure safety
Voice data may be stored securely and retained as necessary for functionality, safety, and legal compliance.
Genie will not share your voice data with third parties without your consent, except:
As required by law
As necessary to operate the Service
You may request deletion of your voice data, subject to technical and legal limitations.
You agree not to record, store, or share another user’s voice or conversations without their explicit consent.
9. Acceptable Use of AI & Voice Features
You agree not to use Genie’s AI or voice features to:
Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse others
Use hate speech or excessively offensive language
Generate or distribute harmful, misleading, or illegal content
Engage in scams, fraud, or deceptive practices
Impersonate another person, including through altered voice technologies
Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or bypass AI safety systems
Genie may monitor interactions using automated and human moderation systems.
Genie may restrict, pause, or terminate specific conversations if unsafe or abusive behavior is detected.
Repeated violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent account termination.
10. User Controls & Safety
You may:
Mute, block, or end interactions at any time
Report inappropriate behavior through in-app tools
Genie encourages you to trust your instincts and disengage from any interaction that feels unsafe.
11. Bias & Fair Use
Genie is designed to treat users fairly and does not evaluate individuals negatively based on accent, dialect, or speech characteristics.
Matching and analysis are based on interaction patterns and user-provided information. Attempts to manipulate or exploit Genie’s systems may result in account restrictions.
12. No Professional Advice
Genie does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or religious advice.
Any AI-generated insights, compatibility suggestions, or recommendations are for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional guidance.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
Genie disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including:
Availability or uninterrupted service
Accuracy or reliability of content
Success in finding a match
AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are solely responsible for your decisions and interactions.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Genie shall not be liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data, relationships, or opportunities
Genie’s total liability shall not exceed the greater of:
The amount paid by you in the past 12 months, or
$100
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Genie, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
Your use of the Service
Your User Content
Your violation of these Terms
16. Termination
You may delete your account at any time.
Genie may suspend or terminate your account if you:
Violate these Terms
Engage in harmful, abusive, or unlawful behavior
